Project Overview
Working with an established design system, I contributed to the evolution of its component library by brainstorming and exploring new components, designing and refining components where needed, and translating the system into product updates and new feature releases. A key part of my role was ensuring that the design system remained practical and flexible, while maintaining consistency across different products and user journeys.
I have since taken ownership of the ongoing management and implementation of the design system. This includes maintaining and evolving the component library, ensuring new features adhere to established patterns, and identifying opportunities to improve consistency, usability, and efficiency across the wider product ecosystem.
The result is a more cohesive and scalable design foundation that supports consistent product development across platforms, while giving the team a clearer and more efficient approach to designing and implementing new experiences.
